MET Hungary has signed agreement to take over GDF Suez’s Hungarian retail electricity portfolio
The acquisition is a result of a tender process and covers 0.5 percent of the Hungarian electricity market. Competition authority approval process is underway.
MET has won GDF Suez Energy Holding’s restricted tender procedure on the takeover its retail electricity portfolio in Hungary which covers the 0,5 percent of the market. The tender was announced by GDF Suez in Summer 2014. The takeover process will be closed after the approval of the Hungarian Competition Authority.
